Partnering Facilitation – 2019

CSR partner, Frank Carr, started off the 2019 new year with a partnering workshop facilitation for NAVFAC and the Military & Federal Construction Company at Cherry Point, North Carolina. The project is P766 F-35 Lift Station Repair Facility Project, for the Marine Corps Fleet Readiness Center (FRC-East).

Dispute Review Boards (DRB)

At the start of 2019, CSR partner Frank Carr successfully completed two DRB’s as a Chairman on one project and a Member on another project. Both of the DRB’s extended over the course of several years and neither major construction project had a claim resulting in litigation. Frank was the DRB Chairman of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s (WMATA) Andrews Center Bus Facility in the Washington D.C. area and a Member of the DRB for the New York City MTA Capital Construction’s East Side Access Project (ESA) Contract CM005 – Manhattan South Structures (Grand Central Terminal); New York, NY.

DIEGO GARCIA PARTNERING WORKSHOP

CSR director, Frank Carr, recently facilitated a two-day partnering workshop on Diego Garcia, an island in the Indian Ocean. The partnering participants were the U.S. Navy and its BOS (Base Operations Support) contractor. Prior to the commencement of the workshop, Mr. Carr administered a pre-workshop survey that helped the stakeholders focus on their relationship, expectations, mutual goals, and issues at the workshop.

CSR Health Care Leadership and Coaching Services

CSR’s Pete Swanson is providing leadership, facilitation, culture change and coaching services to the leadership of a hospital of a major healthcare provider in the mid west. Efforts began in March of 2015 and are ongoing.

CSR Culture Change Work in Major Federal Agency

CSR’s Pete Swanson has been asked to facilitate and [provide consultancy services for a large scale culture change effort for the General Counsel’s office of a major federal agency. The effort began with an assessment of the leadership climate in early 2015 followed by a leadership offsite to chart the course forward in the summer of 2015. Efforts are now underway to engage senior executives in 360 assessments, individual and peer coaching efforts, and to begin to move the engagement done to middle management.

CSR to provide strategic planning and team building assistance to Cambridge Medical Center

Under a contract with the Allina Health, CSR is providing strategic planning and team building to senior leadership of the Cambridge Medical Center in Cambridge, Minnesota. CSR partner Pete Swanson conducted an initial session in early June and will continue work with the hospital in the autumn of 2013. (August 6, 2013)

CSR Conducts Preliminary Partnering Session Facilitation – Washington D.C.

On June 14, 2013 CSR partner Frank Carr facilitated a preliminary partnering session for the Architect of the Capitol, Parsons Construction, and Pepco Energy Services for the Cogeneration Plant Addition Project in Washington D.C.

CSR works with University of Maryland to provide course on “The Learning Organization”.

Under the auspices of the University of Maryland CSR is facilitating one of five core courses on Peter Senge “The Learning Organization”. CSR partner Pete Swanson is facilitating the “personal Mastery and Vision course” for government clients.
