Bob Randolph recently completed an assignment as a member of an Independent “Fairness Committee” advising a global equity company (“the Company”) on the fairness, from the perspective of its minority interest holders, of a debt for equity transaction involving majority shareholders of the Company who had borrowed money from a third party Lender and who wished to satisfy their debt obligations to the Lender by transferring shares in the Company to the Lender. Working with an investment bank and independent evaluation experts, the Committee, chaired by Seattle attorney Ron Erickson, rejected a straight debt for equity swap and, in its stead, crafted a solution whereby the debt obligations held by the Lender would be exchanged for newly issued preferred stock in the Company, thus protecting the interests of the Company, the Lender, minority interest holders and the Borrowers.

CSR Completes Three-Day Basic Mediation Training Workshop and Announces Advanced Course to Follow

CSR conducted a mediation training program for government employees with a focus on workplace disputes in Crystal City, VA, March 29-31, 2011. The training included mediation process and mediator skill building exercises.

This is the first phase of a two-part mediation training program which will be followed by a three-day “Advanced Mediation” program scheduled for May 10-12, 2011, in Crystal City, Virginia. The “Advanced” course includes further work on communication and negotiations skills, working with diverse personalities and communication styles, working with attorneys, and dealing with difficult people and disruptive situations. Bob Randolph and Frank Carr are lead trainers.

CSR Awarded Contract to Facilitate Senior Staff Retreat for the Native Alaskan Tribal Health Consortium

CSR will be facilitating the senior staff retreat for the Alaskan Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC), the largest native health care provider in Alaska. CSR has done extensive work with ANTHC since 2001. Work commences in May, 2011.

CSR Provides Training in Resilience to EPA

Under a contract with Rushford and Associates, CSR provided a pilot course on Resilience to the EPA in April of 2011. The course was very well received and CSR will make this a part of its regular course offerings.

CSR Awarded Contract for Basic and Advanced Mediation Training in Kosovo
